Gilbert has an infectious smile and laugh. He has a keen sense of direction and likes to ask everyone “what time is it?” He loves watching his sister at gymnastics meets and cheering at the basketball games. Gilbert likes puzzles, listening to music, and watching Mickey Mouse. He enjoys horseback riding, biking with mom, and bowling. He loves his cheese pizza from Costco and his crunchy snacks.

He was diagnosed with CTD at 3 ½ years old. This past year, we have seen an increase in seizures. Despite the setback, he has shown improvements with behaviors and learning sight words. We are grateful for the ACD community and all that they do to further research. We are hopeful that there will be a treatment available soon.
